There I stood, under fluorescent white
Gazing outside at the clouds above
Bright orange, so beautiful to see
An array of colors meet my gaze
As the sun lays down to rest
Preparing for what tomorrow brings
Away goes the oceans in the sky
Along with the amethyst and velvet hues
Leaving blood orange in its wake
Ahead sit the countless number of trees
Together and barren, with no leaves
Black as a void, opposed to what lies behind
Their branches slither up toward the sky
A sight fit for Hallows Eve
Time dashes onward
Alas, this shalt not last for long
The day soon falls, as night rises
Dark as quick as the colors changed
How it shall remain
Until the sun meets us again tomorrow
